I chose Running Creek Dental specifically because of Dr. John Gittens, and the care I’ve received has fully justified that decision. I am currently undergoing a full rehabilitation of my maxillary arch, and Dr. Gittens has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and clinical expertise throughout the process. He takes the time to listen carefully, explain diagnoses clearly, and thoughtfully get to the root of the problem rather than rushing treatment. I especially appreciate his commitment to conservative dentistry and preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible. A full maxillary rehabilitation requires patience, as you are essentially recreating your smile. Dr. Gittens has been incredibly patient and collaborative throughout the process. He welcomes feedback and works with me to refine details like shape, size, and color so the final result reflects both his clinical expertise and my aesthetic goals. The team that has worked with me throughout this process has been wonderful. Cassie has been with me through much of the main treatment phase and has shown incredible empathy and kindness during what has proven to be an emotional process. Ellie was also very supportive during the early diagnostic and introductory stages of care. I also want to recognize Heather and Jill at the front desk, who have been consistently welcoming, helpful, and compassionate. I’m very grateful for the expertise and care I’ve experienced and highly recommend Dr. Gittens and the team at Running Creek Dental.

I would yell it from the rooftops if I could! I am a patient with a very deep fear of the dentist. I recently needed some intensive and restorative treatment done and went to Dr. John Gittins, and I am absolutely beside myself. The high level of care I received from Dr. Gittins, Cassie, Ellie, and Jill was something I have never experienced. I was welcomed with the most gentle, kind, caring, compassionate, honest, knowledgeable and non judgmental care in the most relaxing environment I could have ever imagined. After my procedure, I waited for the pain and discomfort. To my surprise, it never really came! Dr. Gittins’ very gentle care has made a world of difference for my anxiety and fear. He truly is a gifted and talented professional in every way. This office is a true treasure for the Elizabeth/Kiowa area!
